ZCF BABE OF THE WEEK – EMILY

I decided to join ZCF in September 2017 when I realised how much relationship weight I had put on. All of a sudden it just clicked, and my boyfriend and I decided things needed to change for the both of us.

ZCF BABE EMILY PRIDE!

I went in to ZCF as an extremely anxious, stressed and self-conscious person, weighing 92kg and a size 16/XL. I am now 14 kilos down, a size 12 and the happiest and healthiest I have ever been!

MY RESULTS!

Since being at ZCF, I have lost 14kg and I am now 78kg and a size 12/M. Not only have I changed physically, I have also changed mentally.  Over the past 10 months, I have achieved some amazing body goals, however the biggest change for me has been with my mindset. I am so amazed everyday at how different my outlook on life is and how my mind and soul has changed in a positive way.  I now suffer from little or no anxiety and when I’m feeling stressed, I always know that a session at ZCF can fix that in 45 minutes of HIIT!

MY TRAINING PROGRAM

I train on the Unlimited Package, 5-6 times a week and stick to a no carb diet for most of my weeks. Oh and and I do have a cheeky cheat day every now and then. I used to smoke 10+ cigarettes a day and this year decided to quit for good. I can now run to the second bus stop without stopping and without feeling an aching burn in my chest. Its so amazing, because I just feel so much healthier and happier.

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?

I started off absolutely loving the boxing classes! However I am now currently enjoying the strength and conditioning classes as I a feel overall so much stronger after these sessions. Building my strength has been a big goal for me besides the weight loss so i really enjoy hitting the weights!

WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE FOR SOMEONE JUST STARTING OUT?

Before I signed up, I was worried that I wasn’t fit enough. However once you get started, you will quickly surprise yourself with how much you improve in just as little as a couple of weeks. And do not worry about keeping up with other people in the class, just go at your own pace and listen to your body. Oh and the coaches never pressure you to keep up. They support you at any level of fitness and are always there to help you achieve and improve.

WHY I LOVE ZCF!

I couldn’t be where I am today without the support of the ZCF Personal Trainers, Zanna, Lauren and Sophie; and of course and my boyfriend and the ZCF girls. Zanna has truly built an amazing community at ZCF which I am so proud and grateful to be a part of. I highly recommend joining the ZCF Squad and coming along to the ZCF HIIT Studio in Cromer; if you are looking to change your body, mind or soul! They will change your life!
