So what gives this little lemon drink such a powerful kick?
Lemon juice helps to stimulate the gastrointestinal tract and boost metabolism while ginger root is an excellent anti-inflammatory that’s also anti-aging and can aid in weight loss.
Turmeric, on the other hand, is a wonderful spice that can suppress the growth of fat tissue as well as prevent DNA damage and slow down the ageing process.
Why should you add this into your daily routine?
We recommend doing this daily if you are feeling low on energy, run down or just in need of a cleanse! This shot is especially great for during the cooler months as it is loaded with vitamin C, antioxidants and will keep your immune boosted and strong!

2-3 lemons peeled
1-2 teaspoons of turmeric powder
2 chunks of ginger
1 cup of water
We like to blend ours in the NutriBullet and buy the turmeric powder from the Warriewood or Frenchs Forest Markets! And feel free to add a pinch of pepper and coconut oil in to help with absorbing the goods from the turmeric!
