The Best Fudgy Cacao Brownies!

These Brownies are literally life changing! And are the perfect go to for when your craving that something sweet!

Satisfying those sweet cravings doesn’t always have to end in restriction. Which is why we love whipping up these delicious dairy free cacao protein brownies, because they satisfy that sweet tooth craving every time!

Ingredients

* 1 cup black beans (drained and rinsed well)
* 2 tbsp cocoa powder (10g)
* 1/2 cup quick oats (40g)
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1/2cup pure maple syrup, honey, or agave (75g)
* 1/4 cup coconut or vegetable oil (40g)
* 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
* 1/2 tsp baking powder
* 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
* Pinch of sultanas
* Chopped up walnuts or almonds

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine all ingredients in a nutri bullet or good food processor, and blend until completely smooth. Really blend well.

Stir in the walnuts, almonds or sultanas then pour into a greased 8×8 pan.

Optional: sprinkle extra chocolate cacao over the top and a drizzle of maple syrup. I also put some chopped up almonds on top for a bit of extra crunch!

Cook the black bean brownies for 15-18 minutes, then let cool at least 10 minutes before trying to cut. Then place them in the fridge to firm up!

Makes 8-10 brownies
