Meet our ZCF Babe Nicole!
She is one of our regular 5:15am early risers in the ZCF HIIT Community and she is an absolute INSPIRATION!
She has achieved some incredible weight loss results since joining us in the Studio, so we thought its about time you met her and heard her story!
1. WHAT WAS YOUR BIGGEST MOTIVATION TO START YOUR FITNESS JOURNEY WITH ZCF?
Decided to look into HIIT training, a girlfriend was going to a mixed gym HIIT and I went and checked it out – not for me. Determined, I still wanted to find something right for me I googled HIIT training Dee Why and ZCF came up – there was a gym at Cromer – ALL WOMEN after reading their website there was so much that appealed to me this Studio was the right one for me!
2. HOW DID YOU FEEL AFTER YOU STEPPED OUT AND CONTACTED ZCF?
Took the first step mid-November last year, needed motivation – I got in touch. Best decision I ever made. Zanna was so lovely and made me feel instantly at ease. She spent a lot of time with me over the phone explaining all about her training and her philosophy about HIIT and why it works. Not once did I feel pressured to join. She was very happy for me to make the decision and to tell you it was the best one I have ever made is an understatement. She kept in touch and made me feel so welcome. All the trainers have. All the girls that I train with are amazing, they are so friendly and welcoming.
3. HOW DID YOU LOSE THE 12 KILOS?
I started with the kick starter pack, which was 3 days a week. This was excellent, I was not overwhelmed and lost 12 kilos in 2 of the 8 Week Programs this way. The program I am on now is unlimited. This was definitely the right decision for me, I have now ramped up my training per week and feel amazing, I even did two classes back to back for the first-time last week and it was the best! Since joining the gym, my fitness levels have increased drastically and my body shape has changed so much.
4. HOW DO YOU FEEL AFTER COMPLETING THE TWO 8 WEEK PROGRAMS?
I feel so much fitter since joining ZCF, I couldn’t do a burpee or push up or hold a plank and the satisfaction I get after a class now when I do these is the best! I am so proud of my progress and know that following the 14-day meal plan, food prep and continuing my workouts I will only improve more and more day by day.
5. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE STYLE OF TRAINING?
My first booty blast class was awesome, from there I must say that all the classes are brilliant. The 5.15am sessions and Saturday Goddess Warrior are my go-to. They energize me for the rest of the day. Prior to joining there was one thing I was really interested in doing and that was Boxing, well Goddess Warrior and Box Fit does not disappoint. This is a true cardio and full workout.
6. WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE TO SOMEONE JUST STARTING OUT?

7. WHAT DO YOU LOVE THE MOST ABOUT THE SESSIONS IN THE HIIT STUDIO?
All the classes have some much variety, never is two classes the same which I love. All the girls motivate each other and having a workout buddy is such a brilliant idea it makes you accountable.
8. WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE STYLE OF TRAINING?
My favourite style of training would have to be the Boxing. This is a true cardio and full body workout.
9. WHAT’S YOUR ADVICE FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO GET STARTED WITH WEIGHT LOSS.. BUT IS WORRIED THAT THEY AREN’T FIT ENOUGH?
So initially I was a little bit apprehensive thinking well Im 47, how am I going to keep up with these young ones. But honestly, this motivated me more. The Trainers will tailor the program to suit you and your needs. If you have any injuries or niggles, you can easily jump on a bike instead of running and they will make sure the sessions are tailored for you.
10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE QUOTE?
When you feel like quitting, think about why you started.
11. WHAT DO YOU PREFER, WEIGHTS OR CARDIO?
I prefer cardio with Boxing and Kick Boxing! This is always a killer session!
